|
|
How long is the bed folded out? All the way from the very back of the bus. I searched, but didn't find what I was looking for. I am building my own fold out bed, but I am not sure of the dimensions.
Thanks, Max _________________ 1978 Transporter, 2.0L FI |

Depends on the year.
Here's a '70 like ours.

6'3"-6'4"
That's for the Rock n Roll bed.
The game changes a little if you're not turning your bus into a 'westfakia'.
The Delmar Retro-bed (a repro of the original Wilsonville Zbed) turns your stock rear seat sections in to a bed. Not quite the same comfort level, but maintains the stock appearance absolutely when folded up. I'm just not sure how well I'd fit with my head knocking up against the middle seat in a DelMar.
