Lemmerz they are not, but stainless steel and a very, very near spot on match. Fit tight, high polish, and very reasonable for cost. There are other post with regard to these, but for those of you following this post who are looking for beauty rings these are readily available @ Bob Drakes.

I think I should get some of those so I don't have to worry about someone stealing the lemmertz.
By the way Scott, the tooling for the glove box replicas is almost done |

I would be interested in a glove box also. _________________ It's not about the window, it's about the people.

Rods, flywheel, & 356 Porsche crank back from balance and polish. Should be a great looking "sleeper" when complete.

Did Rimco drill the flywheel for 8 dowels and replace the ring gear? |

Yes Loren, that is standard for a EMPI or Okrasa crank. _________________ If you take time to do it, do it right and don't be so damn cheap.....🤙🏻

|
|
Spent today making small flanges and dolling out other metal that was removed. Also got a chance to run some practice beads for panels. 17mm (.750) is the majority of the beads on this panel. This weekend I hope to shear, stretch bead area with English wheel, and run beads. Then bend flanges and hope we got it right.

Can you post a picture of your english wheel?
I am curious if it is a big machine or not.
Thanks!! |
Harbor Freight has a cheap English Wheel which works fairly well according to some friends of mine. You can also find 20 to 25% off coupons if you ever buy one ...

The Speedwell pully arrived from Ray today looks beautiful. Motor from Joe Ruiz is almost done, & I cannot wait to see it in my own possession. I have a dreamed of this motor in one of my dream cars for all of my adult life. I know it's not a lot to some, but to me it is the pinnacle of what this car should/could have been if the idea was funded and marketed. _________________ If you take time to do it, do it right and don't be so damn cheap.....🤙🏻
