I really would like to get my hands on a driving Volvo P1800 to restore to a daily driver status. _________________ 67 Ghia coupe, Retired military.

By the way, this is my mom's Edsel. It's extremely rusty, and we're restoring it very slowly. |
Look at that trunk...you could almost disassemble that Beetle and haul it around in the Edsel.
Does it have the funky Teletouch gear shift selector buttons in the center hub of the steering wheel, or the standard column shift?

Yep, it's got the Teletouch! When we first got the car, we just sat in it pressing the buttons to hear it change gears. My mom's mother owned a '58 also, a Pacer convertible that was black. _________________ 1973 Super Beetle

Nice car, but it would almost certainly make the "Impala abortions, homemade bastards, post 'em" thread on a Chevy forum if they had one.
Seriously, nice example of a vintage lowrider. |

lol thanks man
funny thing about the chevy guys is they dont seem to mind em when they are buyin em LOL..
ive probably known 5-6 lowrider "haters" that bought one to put it back to stock or make a street machine outta it.. hydraulics get a bad rep, only 2 1-3/4" holes in the front of the frame and 2 in the rear trunk floor.. SUPER easy to go back to stock, and MUCH better on the frame when compared to air setups.. (when front/back only, obviously teh clown cars and hoppers are hard on em)..
weld those couple holes up and throw teh stock springs in (yup, we keep em), and no one is teh wiser... _________________ mine - '65 6vt 40hp, 5.5" beam, Spindles, BRMs, etc

Always wanted a '68 Chevelle SS.
And a black '69 Charger R/T is always a favorite.

I'm assuming he means the BP "Bus". |
Ah, well I just thought that by bus he meant....
I'll go back to my corner now. |

I regret to admit that I was so taken with the M-B bus I didn't even notice the Type 2. I am suitably embarrassed. _________________ Central Jersey VW Society
