I think you can still get ZXZs from Coker, but they are pricey. Older tires are always a bit of chance. I don't drive too far or too fast with this buggy so I'm not too worried.

Thanks.

I believe the taillights are 1964 Impala's, due to the slope. I had a 1962 Corvair Monza and the rear end is more vertical.

Taillights are 1965 Impala, and a good choice. Nice looking buggy!

Here are a couple of new photos with 1966 style wheels and hub caps for a retro look.

I finally completed the retro wheel installation on my Sportster. It handles better now with the stock wheels up front and the 30/9.50r15s in the back on 15"x 8" rims.

I love the rack over the Type 3 engine and the chrome windshield frame. Looks like you have something custom mounted on the tunnel ahead of the shifter

Thanks.
The rack appears to be from an old sports car with an aluminum sheet beneath it as an engine cover.
The instrument panel is a steel tube with a VW speedo, ignition and switches for lights, wipers and reverse lights. I had to cut a section out of it to get my size 13 feet on the accelerator pedal, but it works fine now.

Looks Good, I'd like to see a up close picture of the speedo set up, never seen one done like that. V

Here are some photos of the Sportster's instrument pod. The small toggle switch is for the reverse lamps.

Looks good that was pretty creative to put it there. I think I saw a pic your radio was up under the dash. Nice

To be clear. I removed the radio because I could not hear while driving.

Have the opportunity to purchase an original Sportster, but the seller doesn't speak much English, and it's hard to get much information about it. I've got the following pictures, and a couple of basics. No idea if it has a title, but definitely comes with a bill of sale (won't be an issue in GA), he state's that it runs good, and that's about it.

Based on the limited knowledge, and that it's more than a few hours away, I tend to limit my pricing on only what I can see.

I'm asking your opinions on value based on the below pictures and above description. Again, the above info is all that I can obtain at the moment.

Thanks!
Brian

You say its an original Sportster, do you mean original factory built or an older plans built? I can see a couple things that are different from a factory built.

Sorry, I meant as in an old real Sportster. Not sure about factory built, but from what I have read, it would appear to be a kit. I'm just trying to find a fair price on it, before trying to negotiate.
