|
|
Always follow your leads… At the VW classic weekend I got a lead on a old vw buggy with some extra Empi parts for sale, I put off going to see the stuff Monday, Tuesdays & Wednesday. I made some time on Thursday to go check it out thinking it was just some more made in China Empi repro items, Boy was I wrong.
Not being a Empi collector now I need to find out what is what...

Is this a case where the seller didn't know what he had or did you just buy out someone's old collection? I can't imagine this was cheap. _________________ My Beetles :

Both ! A third party bought the car and all the parts . When I went over the parts were there and the car was coming over later that night. I made a deal on all the parts paid for them and left. I waited for his call on the car and he was just buying time. Today I called him for the 5th time and he admitted he sold the car to someone else even thou it was promised to me to see it first…
That’s ok with me, parts are easy to store.. and take less room.
As for the price of the parts |

Old Empi parts were made in Taiwan and Japan!
Joe Vitone was one of the first to use overseas parts makers..... _________________ Werksberg Products....Products that work!

Japan is still making quality products. Taiwan not so much, but go back 30 or 40 years things were different.. Now EMPI is garbage |
