thanks,im actually even jealous and its mine!
so the story is that this is a 2 owner bus,but basically a 1 owner and being untouched by its 2nd owner
the mods are too cool, this bus is very me............rear window wiper added by og owner, its lucas so its british but i love that it tells a bit of the story of the buses life..............i mean who puts in a rear wiper?
porsche put rear wipers on some cars so i guess it was a trend?
one smooth semaphore and the other is ribbed.............
which is correct?
it came with a red rear apron, and after close examination i would declare it red and not sealing wax red
those neat early window frames
i cleaned the drivers side up a bit............no buffers involved,no clr treatment yet, just a rubbing compound by hand........maybe 20 minutes..........the passenger side looks pretty clean,we will see what it looks like i guess!

Not sure about the gas lid, but ribbed semaphores are correct for that one. It's in much nicer shape then mine. And I love the front bumper dressing! Congrats. _________________ 53 Hatch Barndoor

Nice find Adam!
Portland is two weeks away, I'm sure you can have a motor stuffed in that thing and the brakes bled before then...... |

the metal cylinder looking thing on the dash is a ashtray from a kaiser of some sort..........again added by the original owner and i think its staying put
the sad part is that i wont be able to really get nitty gritty on it for some time...............i have a 2 yr waiting list thats actually getting longer of customers cars to fix before really being able to work on my own toys
im building 2 356s this winter and im going to try and squeeze in a little 52 kombi lovin in there, but its unlikely............ _________________ Have a great day! |

You know you will have this bus up and running in less than a year, it will eat at you until you finish it.
