I just installed a set of used popouts in my '63 T1. I had to drill holes for the hinge because it never had them before. Anyway, the driver's side popout doesn't want to seal against the body. It's as if the popout is bent, but could it really be with the glass in it? It sticks out close to 1/2 inch on the top and bottom, and the latch end it a little out too. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you sure you have the hinge end in properly?

The passenger side fits nice and tight, and they are both installed the same way...

I'm just gonna say this for the experts here.. You'll need to post pictures displaying your mounts and your problem..

I looked at it today with some fresh eyes and got it figured out. Thanks for the help.

What was the problem? I was wondering if the front hinge assembly was forward far enough.

The hinge was bent a bit causing the frame to sit tight at the front and back, and loose in the middle.
