I lost half of the fluid out of a liquid filled FPR gauge.... what kind of fluid do I use to replace it?

I believe it's mineral oil.

So it's mineral oil or glycerin. Just taste it to be sure. Cool

Most are just mineral oil.
I used to do gauge repair.

according to autometer...
liquid silicone,
same as used in breast inplants...(they said) they directed me to a local cvs or longs pharmacy to get some... wild Laughing

I wonder if this is similar to the silicone shock oil used in R/C Cars?..Might save the embarassment of standing around in CVS inspecting the ingredients of sex lubes. + you can get it in various weights to fine tune the guage damping. Razz
