Hello vert owners!
I have a '62 but I though this thread would be best to post my question.
I need help figuring out what direction the window wedges get mounted. I have the quarter front and the door rear. It looks like there is a specific side of the chrome that goes over the top but I'm having trouble figuring our the orientation.
Can anyone post some close-up pictures?
Thanks,

James

Thanks Lovethatconvertible.
I think the 2nd thread would have helped but for me, the photos from Stanw3 are not appearing. I checked his photos on here and didn't see anything on this topic. Still looking.

Hi,

There was an individual on this site replicating these reinforcement rails (laser cut, etc) last year. These sold for about $600...... is he still around? My '59 needs to be re-restored.

Thanks for any assistance.

Scott

Body and chassis numbers match 2979986

Engine looks to be from a 61 or 62?

Show a pic of the engine #, steering wheel and door handles- a those will rule it out- but vin tag indicates March 60 and also vin tag is later style as well.

Well,
Door handles that have 2 attachment points are 1960 and later (59 and down are ice picks. )
Dished steering wheel with horn ring is 1960 and later ( 59 and down had a late batwing)
The engine is a 40 hp from October 1962. (1960 and earlier have 36hp with built into case generator stand)

So you have a March 1960 vert with a October 1962 engine.
