Anyone rollin a stock beam with 2 1/2 drop spindles and 5" or 5.5" wheels? Got any pics? Not sure what will work without rubbing and I sure dont wanna buy rims that dont fit or look right. thx _________________ I tend to think outside of the box....in fact, I dont need no stinkin box!

You didn't say if you were running stock drums or disc brakes. If it's a stock drum, I ran this setup with a pair of 5" BRM's and they just did fit under the fenders (looked good I thought). Also, it really depends on the wheel your running. I can say that a set of 4.5" Fuchs will fit under the fenders with a stock beam, 2.5" dropped spindles and disc brakes but BRM's will not. The BRM's have a deeper face that makes them stick out further than a Fuch. Each wheel will be different so pick a wheel type then do research to see if it will fit your prefered setup.
1966 with stock beam, 2.5" dropped spindles, stock drum brakes and 5" Flat-4 BRM's.

Doh....sorry, yes with Stock drums. Those do look pretty good under there. There's a couple of rims that I've been looking at, not sure which way I'll be going yet. Thanks for your pic....anyone else? _________________ I tend to think outside of the box....in fact, I dont need no stinkin box!
