A.K.A. [email protected] , rareair, [email protected] or 1fastkid on e-bay.
After recieving the supposed NOS hornbutton in the mail, it was obviously a homemade fake.
I contacted him and said I wanted a refund.
He said send it back and he will return my money.
After returning it to him I recieved this e-mail.


He also sent this scan of the refund money order reciept.
(notice how the first few digits of the serial number are cut off)


I had the Post office trace it and found out he had "reversed" the addresses on the envelope and mailed it to himself.
He also reversed the addresses on the money order and cashed it.
That way he had a tracking number and money order reciept number to say he had mailed it and blame it on the Post Office (where he works by the way).
Forgive the quality of this picture, but it is how the Postal Inspector sent it to me)


So in the end he had both my money and the horn button.

Check with the Postmaster, but I'm fairly certain that he has committed mail fraud, which is a Federal Offense.

Yes, he actually refunded my money a few days ago.
Although it took 3 years to get it back !
Now, what about all the others he owes ?

thanks for the info Rich, its nice to know who to stay clear of.

Its wankers that produce fake goods that stitch everybody up.

I have a similar problem with some goods i ordered at the beginning of June, they havn't turned up, no replies to emails, so i have informed my credit card company who are now investigating.

My advice is to buy goods over the internet with a credit card, this means you will have some protection against fraud.

Hmmm, I had a good experience with Glenn. I had a trashed out Oval radio that I posted on a Sunday morning, and Glenn jumped on it in 10 minutes. He sent me a Paypal payment that cleared with no problem. Glenn even sent a confirmation that the radio was indeed trashed, but the faceplate is what he wanted and he was quite pleased with it.

That's wonderful, you mention "MAIL FRAUD" on the board and he coughs up the money. I hope you followed up with the mail fraud theory and checked for yourself.
