I put this link here, though, because it strikes me that this is the thread for off-the-beaten-path Vanagon aesthetics:
http://acidcow.com/cars/65809-a-man-let-strangers-draw-on-his-volkswagen-van.html
Sharpies and good artists!
I have to admit, it turned out rather well.

Off brand, but hopefully someone here will be inspired to take their VW van to the next level of hyper-real awesomeness

This artist wasn't very accurate in his portrayal of the characters, was he.
I mean, there's Spock, next to this big-tittie girl.
Now how often did you see THAT on star trek.
He's shooting his lazer off into the sky, like he's saying "Yeah baby! I'm gonna get laid tonight!" _________________ One of these days I'm gonna settle down,

It looks like it's gone from country home to crack house in those 9 months. _________________ '88 SCA High/Pop-top Syncro camper

A carpenter might have worked on the sheet metal, but if he owned it the van would have 4x6s for bumpers. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |

you know take a terminnaly wrecked camper and make it functional again is an A+ in my book
to then try to sell it for "real" money is a C-
for that money it's not really a deal , but for cheap it's still a viable camper to bomb around out in the woods or beach with. _________________
