I never said it wasn't done well, but the whole concept is just confusing to me. Rat rods are not just about style, but function. This is all about the look, without any of the hot rod function. I guess I'm just not into the whole style over function thing.
Then there's the whole issue with a van in the Santa Cruz area with a "SoCal" decal on the dash. More confusion. This thing is a rolling identity crisis
To each their own I suppose. I will give it to him that he pulled off the "look" well. I don't think anyone is going to pay 10 grand for it though. _________________ Going to where the grass is bluer...

Wall of Shame? I think this belongs in the Hall of Fame!
I don't want to give up my storage space, but I think that is genius. I camp once or twice a year on a sites w/ electric hook-up, so not for me. But I'll keep it mind if that makes it better for the dogs. _________________ John - 86 Wolfsburg Westfalia "Weekender"

Not sure how the condenser is ducted in and out the back side. You'd need an awfully big hole in the fire wall. _________________ 89 Westy 2.1 Auto |

cool air will tend to stay near the floor - yet another reason why that is not an optimal placement
but if he parks in RV "camp" sites he can just plug into AC |

If I had to have AC (pets are a good reason), I'd go this route. That way you only bring it along and mount it up when you need it.

Yes but it looks like if the bed is in front you could sit up in bed. _________________

Saying that specs are different than dimensions doesn't make sense. Porsche specs/VW specs/engineering specs are nothing but a series of dimensions, sizes, percentages, measurements, etc. |

Powered by an ALH TDI ....... Pulling a camper, something quite different!
Hacked the OE Speedo area to install a functional Jetta Cluster.. Yes, that's how fast I was pulling the camper.
