|
|
RC Enterprises just purchased the very 1st Magnaspark II Digital Distributor CB Performance has sold. Talk about timing (no pun intended).....It is still in customs at the dock so I guess we know where it is manufactured. Have to wait a week before CB can ship it out. Regardless, we are pretty excited to get this new product and will certainly post our impressions here.

About $320 for just the distributor and MAP sensor kit. Coil, plug wires, USB cable, etc are extra.

Yes, I am curious to see how it is to change the map and does it work with a CDI like MSD or the like? |

We ordered it with the matching coil and wires (don't want any warranty issues if trouble arises). I will pour over the instructions...maybe scan and post them here with permission from CB of course.

I think just the distributor is at the dock. _________________ [email protected] Please use email for all general inquiries.

$320 seems a bit steep for just the distributor. For a little over $400 you can go with a crank trigger ignition:

No moving parts to wear out, and infinite adjustments via laptop. And, everything except the Megajolt unit can be replaced at any parts store, with regular Ford parts. |

The Magna Spark digital is NOT made in China. We proudly make the distributor in the U.S The map sensor and all electronics are housed internaly in the distributor. The distributor is sold with software, instructions, vacuum line and fittings and vacuum plates to go under your carbs. You can run any coil you like. The MS-Digital will also work with external spark boxes like the MSD 6AL and 7AL. The only thing that you need to buy seperately from CB is the USB/serial adapter cable. The distributer uses a single serial cable and requires a usb/serial converter for communication.
