That's just a run of the mill 70s Ford hubcap as seen on the pickup trucks. |

Pretty sure these were the style that was available through VW dealers at the time. I seem to recall seeing them in a VW brochure from that era. _________________ nothing |

Can't argue that. Might have learned something today!
They look alot like the hubcaps found on Ford F-series trucks and E-series vans in the late 70s and into the 80s.
You are probably right though. |

I haven't figured out how to post pictures but eBay has an auction that lists the hubcaps I was thinking of as "71-72 FORD TRUCK MAG HUBCAP 70-71 LTD MAG HUBCAP" |

Weren't those trucks equipped with 15" wheels? these hubcaps are 14". _________________ nothing |

Pulled this '68 Neptune Blue truck out of the top of a mountain. Its too late to have the blue interior
Solid truck, original paint except for the nose and drivers treasure chest door. They blew the engine 20 years ago and parked it.

First thing is I have to wash it, and probably many times. Good things are, has the original paint rims, key in the ignition, wiring looks good and good glass. _________________ ---
