Looks like a really crusty Dormobile. Likely not worth saving the whole bus, but it might have an excellent pile of parts to give up for other buses.

Try digging into it to see if the interior is still there.

Mine after a quick initial wash.......Poptop is in excellent condition.
What's the best method of cleaning the poptop material?

Do you mean the fiberglass top, or the tent material?

saw this beauty out past Sooke today, on the way out to Botanical Beach with the family. Sadly, wife didn't want to take our westy for the trip.

Picked up this ‘76 Westy yesterday, it's 1 month older than mine. Kinda looks rough, but it's super solid and complete (very original too). Even has the front curtain and rear mosquito screen and some new parts. Someone started a "restoration" but fortunately didn't get too far. Still F.I. and should be up and running soon. Going to clean it up and find a new home for it!

Oh, and on a whim we picked up this 1976 Honda CT90 from the same seller. Apparently these are pretty popular. We'll be keeping this out at my folks place in the country. Should be fun!

Cool

Just hope I find a new owner who will give it the attention it needs/deserves. Like the last one I sold. Very Happy

Still trying to convince my dad to keep one of these finds. Smile

Found and made a deal on the '69 Hardtop Westy the other day. It's got some rocker rust, but that looked to be about it. Should make a good project. Hopefully I can get it drug home in the next couple days.
