Is that rack a real westy one or a repop? Nice score |
I'm not sure yet. I didn't get to inspect it too good. The interior was filled with crap almost up to the windows so I'm not sure what it's like either. But for the deal I got it for I can't lose. I should get to pick it up today though. |

Heard about this bus a week ago, finally got the deal done tonight
drove it home two hours no problem, just add gas.
Looks killer next to the 66. This is the first bay I've ever really drivin, what a nice ride these have, just feels a lot heavier than a split. |

I picked up this very nice and original 79 westy over the weekend. Had be eyeing it for a couple years and happened to drive by when I saw a moving van in the driveway.
Its very complete, has the original paint, interior is lovely, front seats have been reupholstered, never had a radio installed. The stool still had the yellow bucket inside! And very little rust and no rot at all!
Pics are from when I picked it up

Found and made a deal on the '69 Hardtop Westy the other day. It's got some rocker rust, but that looked to be about it. Should make a good project. Hopefully I can get it drug home in the next couple days. |
I got it home the other day. The rack is just a repop. The doglegs need replaced. There are some bad spots in the cab floor. The electrical is something else, there has to be a couple miles of extra wire in it. And a dozen pounds of mouse turds. Not sure if I'll keep yet or not, my wife has her heart set on another pop top. |

I dont know a Syncro Westy is not a bay window and is hard to beat. But the more I look at that bay....thats a clean Westfalia right there. And a P27 Deluxe. Very cool _________________

I just snagged this 71 camper. It showed up on Craigslist with no pics. I went and made a deal Sunday. Towed it home last night. I'll get more photos soon. Some interior pieces are missing. I plan on using this for my business. Floors are good. Battery trays and the rear right corner of the roof need some love. But all in all, a good bus.

I don't normally post in the Bay section, but I found this when what I thought I was going to look at was a Split.
It looks to me like a '68-'71 dormobile. I now have the residents name and number. Not too sure what shape it is really in, but I have been told it is neglected.
Anything you guys (and Gals) can tell me from what you see would be helpful.
