My condenser fell off the side of dist, the wires are still attached. It is having trouble starting and wont stay running unless I keep giving it gas. Could the condenser be causing this problem? I don't know what a bad condenser acts like. If it matters it a 009 distributor.

The condenser needs to be grounded. Thats what the case of the condenser does. Screw it back in. |

It did not fall off the screw the little spot weld that holds it to the bracket let go and it was just hanging from the wire. So if the case is grounding it, then could that be causing my problem starting. I plan on getting a new one this week and new points just so they are the same age I just didn't know if this could be causing the hard start and sputtering. Thanks. |
