Having modified something basically from scratch I can appreciate your patience. My wife spotted another lifted van in my area and now she wants one. Looks like I'll never be done!

Ok, So I know that it has been awhile since I did an update. I did take a bit of a break, but now I am back on the project. Installed the dual radiator fan onto the radiator...HOLY COW, does that thing move some air. Should have NO problems keeping the engine cool.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

I also added some serious insulation over the fuel cell, and then covered that with a sheet of stainless steel. Should not have any issues with the fuel tank getting hot. Also note the 2.5" fuel fill line, This thing will fill up fast. Not sure if I will run into issues with the line being right behind the fan, but I will test it out and then see if any changes need to be made.

i vote a heat shield between that right fan and the tube, i would thinik heat could get right into the tank from that tube getting warmed up.

If your going to run those cheap hose clamps on your fuel hose at least run 2 at each end.

I do have a plan to build a heat shield, just need to get some more material.
As far as hose clamps, yes 2, but that is all that they had. It at least allowed me to set everything in place. When they get more, I will add additional clamps.

Thanks for that info. That was something I knew nothing about. Question: since my engine is tiled down in the back, should I run them front and rear of heads or just the rears?

stock ones come across the back of the heads, up the pass side of the intake , your should have it , if not they are a easy find , runs cooler gets all the steam pockets out of the heads , i allways hook em up on late model motor swaps just drill n tap the waterpump housing run a lil hose n waa laa.... be sure to put a recirculating water catch tank on it too ,, will like you for it , will get all the air out
