Hey Guys,

I have been trying to track down the door panel trim kits for 55 and earlier bugs. I have a few of these projects going on and I am in need of these kits. WW says they may not get them again. Anyone in Europe carry them? Can they be made?

WW does carry the 56 and later trim, will these work? Is it just the rear panels where they are different (curved & longer)??

Chris

Yes, the rear qtrs are curved. Pre '55 should be straight

Are the front trims the same length at the 56 and later?

Guys I'm back again! Need the door panel chrome trim again! WW is out and they say they have no idea of when they are coming back. Is there another source? I do have a used set here that I might have to send out to be chromed, not sure how that will turn out.

Anybody have any ideas?

Let us know if you find anyone who has them. I'm in the same boat, got my interior from Lenny and he didn't have any trim and I've been looking for over a month now.

Chris, I know you like to stick to stock parts, but if wanted to try something new or maybe temporary I have found chrome trim at Oriellys that is similar in thickness, but is plastic that uses 3M adhesive tape to stick on. It comes in a roll and can be cut to length...

This may sound cheesy, but just throwing out options...when you cut it, make a back cut to hide the cut end...

Good luck

Hey Guys

Trying to find front door panels for a 54 ribbed door car, question was asked earlier in this thread but are the front door panels the same as 56 and later?

Thanks
