Is that really a 5" narrowed beam? I had a 4" on my ghia, and I couldn't even see my front tires when looking from a quarter view.

Thanks. No I added them myself. They were an option though from factory(Rear pop outs)

I'm thinking about going with 17s on my project I'm building right now. Do I have to do any clearance changing in the wheel wells to make it work? I also want to put it on air ride. I have a 62 bug.
