I'm thinking about going with 17s on my project I'm building right now. Do I have to do any clearance changing in the wheel wells to make it work? I also want to put it on air ride. I have a 62 bug. |
With my Escra's I needed long axles or a 1" spacer so the wheels don't rub the inner wells. I went with long axles. Work great. You might want to narrow the front beam about 4".

Can you roll it low? With camber and turn good? I really want to get 17s for my 62 bug and I think I want to try and find these cosmics...they looks sick. |

You can narrow the rims to get better turning radius. Yes you can ride it low. |

That and I'm gonna be rolling a 6" narrowed beam. and be on air ride. I'm just wondering if 17s would work for my car. |

Getting this sucker ready for show season... Interior, a little more trim, and some engine detail and I'm there!
