I have read thru all of the topics in the "search" for this. Yes I'm very confused after reading all of that and not finding what I want. I want to run Wide five Sprintstars on my bay. My Bay is a "68 Micro and can I run the 15" Sprintstars without modification and what Tire would I run on them. Thanks for any help

What size tire? Or what actual Brand/model tire? For size, check this out:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

3...2...1... until resident police points you to some "sticky".

HEY- Thanks so much , I guess you didn't read my post. I read through "The Tire Sticky". along with all of the other search results on that page. My question was about 15" wheels and for 81 pages it talks about the proper 14" Tires. I just wanted to know what would be a good Tire combination for the 15" Sprintstars for my Bus, Thanks Again.

"Search this forum" (found near the top left of that page) returned 4 matches for me just by searching sprintstars, I guess you didn't read through the whole thing Wink

Light Truck tires. If Hankook makes some, all the better.

Just how wide are the 15" rims? The rim offset is very important to know and is critical in the rear as there is not much extra room back there.

I run Vredestein Comtracs in the 205/65/15 size and they are just a squeak shorter than the stock 185R14 tires that are stock. There are some other tire options out there though (just not many).

Keep those 14" rims in the garage would be my suggestion.

Not meaning to steal the thread, but here in North Carolina, the rumor is going around that 14" tires are out of production. What are you guys hearing? Thanks, Don

195/50/15 will work fine and are actually smaller than original 14". they run about 22.8" in diameter and will fit 5.5 to 7" width rims. This is what I have on my 72'.

The tire sticky's a waste, hard to find anything useful for the chaff. A bunch of well titled individual post would be way way more useful.

Thanks for the response The wheels are the standard 5" or 5.5" Sprintstars and will be running on all four corners I was hoping to find 185's

I agree, I read through almost all 81 pages and didn't find what I was looking for. Probably the info I wanted was on the pages I didn't read or I'm sure someone will come up with that. Thanks to everyone that responded.

Ding, ding, ding ding! Somebody gets is! Stickies that broad defy the point of having a forum. Stickies are excellent for FAQ and initial info but on this forum it's way out of hand.

I posted these in the tire sticky 3 days ago:

http://www.michelinman.com/tire-selector/size/commercial/195/70/15/R/agilis/tire-details

What is your stock tire size? I have heard it is a 195/80R14 for an early bay. The link I posted is very close to a 185/80R14 as far as height and revs per mile, which I know is stock for a late bay.

BF Goodrich just started making their All Terrain T/A KO in LT195/75R14 within the last year. Load Range D, good stiff sidewalls, rated for 1700+ lbs...

Are you going to lower the bay with these tires and rims? That would look cool.
