So, I wasn't really looking for another project, but a friend put me on to this car which was about 2 hours northwest of me in Ohio and the price was fair.

I drove up and a few minutes later, the previous owner and I struck a deal (I unfortunately found that after inspection, the 58 body was on a January of 60 pan).

I pulled it home and started stripping and stripping, and stripping the paint.

The previous owner said that he donated it as an art project for a local school Shocked

I did find that has all 4 original fenders and hood, but a
W decklid (which I sold to help recoup some of the money). It has a 40hp setup and an 019 blue screamer dist.

I also found that it still had the orig wire cover for the trunk as well as a solid original glove box.

a bit on rot on the front apron... I had a repro apron laying around and cut out the section I needed..

decided to go ahead and pull the body... and glad I did.. the heater channels were almost totally gone!!!

5" narrowed beam, stripping the pan and cutting some spare padding I had in storage to fit and lessen the sound..

sorry for the poor pics.. my 1st gen iphone is slowly dying..

when I bought it, the owner said, "yeah, the heater channels are "just now" starting to rust on the ends... YEAH RIGHT
