I bought this car almost 3 years ago, knowing it would need a full body restoration at some point, I had hoped it would hang together for a bit longer but it didnt, when I tore it apart i realized the only thing holding me from legitimately falling through the floors were a few pop rivets...
The history on this car, its a 60, indigo blue, as far as i am told the car only has an actual 64k on it, came from a small western ma town where it was owned by the cable tv station for years, and thats why it was painted orange. There is a layer of yellow paint in there too, I painted it the white just for the time being.
It has the orig 36 which runs pretty decent although its not crazy about highway speeds of course, all of the electrical works, tranny shifts smooth, brakes are newer, front end is all rebuilt.
Plans are to do a full body resto, paint it back to the orig L436. The floors are gone, the frame bulkhead bottom is rotted as well as the floorpan rear supports.... Basically all new metal. The engine and mechanical i am going to leave as is, if it aint broke dont fix it i figure... The seats are in really good shape for being original, i will end up doing the headliner at some later point as well
I'm not much of a welder so currently it is at my friends house who is an excellent welder and fabricator, the plan is to have him do all the metal work, get the pan cleaned and painted, then get it back home and do all the finish body work and get it painted
I am hoping to have it all back together by springtime in time for some shows, now onto the pics, as you guys can tell she was pretty damn rotted...
I plan on updating this thread as bring her back to life over the next few months, thanks for looking.

Work continues, slowly, but surely, and with this mild winter it has certainly been easier, or more pleasant to work anyhow. Plans are to remove engine and tranny tomorrow, paint the chassis, paint the engine tins and clean up the tranny and re-install by the end of the weekend. 3'' drop spring plates and 3'' narrowed adjustable beam to be installed after

Well the body work is finally complete, should be shooting some primer on it Monday, and hopefully getting some Indigo Blue on it the end of next week if all goes well. I can't wait to see the car in color!
