today i found out the hard was that i have a 1973 karmann ghia engine and a 68-71 bus generator will not!!! fit right, it extends too far out and screws the belt up, just saying make sure! |

the belts on yes, and ive been riding on it for months, but the belt sits at a weird angle and loses tension about every 2 months, what hardware do i need to fix this? |

If it's indeed a 38 amp generator you'll need the dished bus only backing plates and the bus only fan hub, likely the bus only pulley as well. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

damn, i knew i probably needed that dished backing plate, and i need a different fan as well? |

Same fan (27 or 32 mm depending if it's doghouse or not) 30 amp or 38 amp. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
