It is my understanding that begining in the 1962 model year, that a threaded insert (similar to those used to mount seatbelts to the trans tunnel) was included on the "B" pillar for a third point to which to provide shoulder strap attachment. Can anyone tell me exactlty where this insert is located?
I do not want to start poking around through the leatherette trying to find the void. The padding prevents me from copping a good feel of the B pillar terrain.

| The mounting point can be found about 1 inch below the level of the bottom of the rear 1/4 window on the B pillar. There is probably a plastic screw in cap in the hole which must be removed. It is not under the headliner, it is clearly visible. Hope this helps, tmc |
