previously i had done a repair to the left heater channel near the fender well, were they ovalap the heater channel was rust so i just repaired the fender well skin not the inner part (heater channel skin) well, i couldnt live with myself so is RE DID IT!!

2 full days work:

im picking up some fenders tommorrow from a nearby city, i will spend some of my holiday time filling in the excess holes (they are later, have indicators) and priming them

oh btw, you guys dont mind my build thread being bumped up by updates like this all the time do you?

love it. I thought you had a $110/week budget? that rear apron costed you over 5 weeks,lol. I may buy the same thing, actually. How do you compare its fit to the last one?

bit of an update:

the heater channel is done... second time lucky ay!!

the doors close nice, im very happy with the result, so relived its all over!

priming now Very Happy

H apron still hasnt arrived, but i expect it to arrive this week. all will be merry then

i will take some photos this week

great work mate.1 question,I see the heater boxes so you're going for heat.What shroud are you going to use? DTM and electric fans or type 1 style?

thanks mate, we are using a dtm and electric fans, sadly i wont be using this exhaust setup on the oval because i have the apron without the cutuouts

off to the blasters Smile it was a 200km trip so about 4 hours of driving there and back. we have chosen to go with a business called diamond blasters in perth, so far so good i have seen a few other cars that they have done and the work is sensational, i will keep you updated

as for the wheels and stance, 4 inch beam, 2 clicks at back, dropped spindles, and not to sure about wheels

i really wanted to exept the challenge this great just to show it could be done, so that other people around my age want to do something like this aswell


little update:

all the work to the front firewall has been done now, bot sections on left and right near where the captive nut sits had to be replaced, about 2 days full work

now onto other random patches, will start on them soon.
