This is seriously one of my favorite threads. Amazing work! You are a very talented young man. You are one of the few who pays attention to detail. Cheers! _________________ The Older the Better!

Nice, great color choice and looks like an awesome paint job. I noticed you don't have any tail lights. Did you just do enough wiring to get the car running?
And drive it to the Show? Keep em coming |

Is there a reason you didn't weld the rear apron back on? How are you going to attach it now that is all painted up nice? |

yeah we did this so we can pull the apron off so the engine is very easy to remove _________________ 1967 Karmann Ghia (Resto in progress...)

A friend once took picture of a nice ruby red KG in the sun. When he looked at the pictures, it looked like the car had 6 different shades of red...

okay i forgot to tell you folks, there was a stuff up at the paint shop, all the panels were a different colour to the body. they agreed to take the panels back and redo them, since the last update, the car has been completely stripped and all the hanging panels repainted.. what an effort.
so we are onto wiring now, below are some photos of the last 2 days progress, i still have the engine bay loom to complete. this harness was made from scratch.

thanks man your name says it all, restoring a vw is a sickness haha.. this whole build started with just a "get on the road and driving" it soon turned into a multi thousand dollar time and money pit, all worth it though its been a great experience. nice work with your car, keep at it _________________ 1967 Karmann Ghia (Resto in progress...)
