Magnaflow and S&S header all ceramic coated. These are the best pictures I have.
And yes, it is street legal, well should I say, street regisatered. |

I know, everyone hates dual cannons. No scavengine effect, loss of backpressure/torque... etc.
I like 'em and the way they sound ... it's classic VW buggy/off-road ... so here's a nice vid of them idling.
Just put them on.
Flame on, guys!

I feel the same way about them as you do. Hate the lack of performance, but love the sound of those dual glass packs.
Here are a few more shots of the European Motorworks type 4 header. Slick.
Some more good shots of the header on a type 4 powered rail. This one make me nervous. The header is too close to the fuel tank for my comfort.

Tri-mil Bobtail. Nice fit, and compact.
Not the intent of this photo, but doesn't hang down and isn't too wide either
Fits within the confines of most run of the mill engine cages

turbo leaked and stained the recent ceramic coating I had done. turbo is all good now. oh well, still looks way better than it did.
dropped off the fan shroud, tins, misc. parts, and side panels today at Anderson Painting Co.
will post up pics in a few weeks, to compare with the 2 previous in this thread.
been spending the last several months on our 78 vert and just now turning my attention back to the sandrail for phase 3 of my restoration project on it
Edit: Whoa! It's been 2 years since I started this project! |

Another vote for the "cannon" pipes. Sound good and look good. |

The exhaust is from the late 1990's.. Had it ceramic coated and flanges welded in for the J-Tubes. Good little system, the coating has held up well over the years.

it looks like the guy in back is running it, not sure though. either way it would be bad ass on a full fendered car.
