It's come a long way since page 1. Great progress. Love the new tire/wheel set up and the streetable 2276 turbo.

Dang that's a great looking bug, sits nice and I like the wheels. I'd paint the inside of your doors black though. Just my 2 cents. |

So I didnt post any pix of the new race tranny but its in 3rd gear is nice and short. Rhino case and everything has been upgraded as well as axles
last hp upgrade: PROPERLY Turboprepped Dual 45mm Dellorto DRLA's
Here u can see all the removed internals. Emulsion tubes, Pump Jets, Main and Secondary Venturies, Paper gaskets, Needle Valves, and Bearing seals.
Overall pix showing all new rubber gaskets.
Dellorto update kit removes both venturies and replaces them with more efficient fuel bars you can also see the shorter air correction jets installed.

Hard to see here but the outer Bearing seals were replaced and inner ones were also installed (machining required) to stop fuel from leaking under boost.
Also had to trim out the Carb/Manifold gaskets for increased flow
BIG BEEF manifolds to match
These are all things you should look for when purchasing a set of "turboprepped" Dellortos from somewhere. Here are the new specs for these. all parts purchased from CB Performance.
4- npn-throttle shaft seals-$7.95 each
4-#3309- DRLA turbo emulsion tubes-$22.95 each
1-#7346- DRLA update kit, required for blow through use-$138.95
2-#7214-.250 needle and seat-$8.95each
4-#7210-.60 idle jets-$2.95 each
4-#7213-.155 A/C jets-$3.95 each
4-#7209-.185 main jets-$2.95 each
4-#7211-.33 pump jet-$4.50 each
4-#7273- throttle plate spindle brg-$8.95 each
8-#734-throttle plate securing screw-$1.95 each
2-#3037-Turbo rubber gasket kit-$19.95 each
4-NPN- 33mm modulator rings-$13.95 each[img][/img] _________________ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vintage-VDubz/158714140852567
