It would be kind of cool to have my own home page for TS; is that a possibility? Where all of my gallery pics and classifieds are located, my favorite threads and buddies are linked.

The Control Panel is basically that but not in a graphical way like the main site home page looks like.

I guess I would need an example to understand fully what you mean.
