Anybody needing parts for an automatic 412 wagon, there's one at the Portland North Pick-n-Pull (9635 N. Columbia Blvd). It was raining pretty good, so I was only able to snap a couple of photos.

Good luck!
Stephan

Hey Stephan,

I'll be in the Pearl District this weekend. I'll probably stop by the yard a pick a few parts. Anyone need anything off this 74?

Bill

Hello there Bill,

Someone messaged me earlier that they needed the mirrors, but I can't seem to find their email now. Maybe you can grab those for him just in case he sees this post again.

Good luck!
Stephan

I need the 2 front fenders if they are decent with little to no rust/dents.

The bodywork of that car still looks in good condition...

Sad that so many good cars are scrapped.

From what I remember, all the glass was good. All I grabbed were the door panel clips and seals and two seat belts (all that I could salvage for my 411).

FYI Bill - It's located on Row 14, the first car on the right.

I could use the distributor off it
But check the vaccuum canister see if it holds a vaccuum
And the hood hinges and latch (on the hood)
Just take the hood off and I'll take the hinges without the rod
Il part a couple more in a bit when I he time

Sbritt how are those yellows working for you.
Check my gallery for pics of the one I have left
Also check my classifieds
I will email you later

Ok, I've got your lists and will buy it all if the parts are in decent shape. I expect those that requested parts will buy them from me at a reasonable price including at-cost shipping. If you have any limits on funds to spend, please let me know before end of today. I will go picking on Sunday morning.

a reasonable price is the price you get them for in the yard

why do i suspect the price will depend on WHO goes out there and gets the parts...
i just dont want to get an email stating that hinges and latch are gona run me 50-60 dollars
or a distributor for $50+

i go to Pic n Pulls all the time and i know what they charge for such things

and YES i get that it takes time/effort to go and Pull the parts

but i guess we will see once its all picked

If the price + shipping is sane we should be good to go still. I have been looking for a fender that isn't attached to a whole car for a long time.

I'll send PM's for the parts I got. My day ran short so the list is short Embarassed Sorry, but no time for fenders. They look good at first glance.

The hood and front valance are toast. Looks like the forklift was used to violate the stuck hood latch Rolling Eyes

I may be tardy on this thread, but I have broken both of the little plastic pieces where you hang the seat belts. I have a 71. Do they have the same types of hooks by the handles on a 74? How about visor clips? All the plastic parts on the interior of my car are slowly falling apart.

Thanks

Bill, did you end up hauling the 412 back home with you? I checked the Pick 'n' Pull website today and noticed it wasn't there any more. I called and they confirmed that it was gone (or had been crushed!). Too bad, because I needed to go back and grab some parts for my gas heater.
