Hello everybody

my name's Yann and I'm owner of this 54 BD panel originaly from Portugal. Somebody knows this bus well because it was an old BDM member..

I'm actually starting the restoration of it because in my country we cant drive a car with minor rust Confused

As you can read, my english is really not perfect Embarassed then I need your help to define the english name and if possible the reference of some parts from KlassikFab funky green panel to order them.

In the following pictures, these parts are marked in red. Names for parts I wrote on quotes (") aren't the correct names I hope. If anybody can help me, that's would be very cool!

"Battery Tray"

Here are the references for the parts listed above :

- ailes avant droite pour 54, int+ext = KF 273 - complete dogleg, left side, 4 pieces
- poutre chassis centrale avant = KF 504 Front chassis crossbreace
- poutre chassis centrale arrière = KF 505 Rear chassis crossbreace
- "poutre" latérale en forme de triangle pour l'avant = KF 510 - Outriggers, front
- "poutre" latérale en forme de triangle milieu droite = KF 511 - Outriggers, middle right
- "poutre" latérale en forme de triangle milieu gauche = KF 512 - Outriggers, middle left
- "poutre" latérale en forme de triangle arrière droite = KF 513 - Outriggers, rear right
- "poutre" latérale en forme de triangle arrière gauche = KF 514 - Outriggers, rear left
- bas de caisse arrière droit (bas d'aile) = KF 912 - Short side rocker
- tole de batterie = KF 1320 battery tray

Tu peux les commander chez vwsplitparts aux pays bas (leur site t'aidera car la rubrique shop en ligne est bien illustré donc si tu sais pas les noms ca aide...) ou chez musclebus en UK.

it was solid. i've seen plenty of much newer buses still driving with much worst rust. the cargo floor was solid and fairly straight in that bus. i think the front floors were solid too. most people looking for a barndoor would be thrilled to see little rust as i'm sure yann was.

for sure it's a very solid bus, just some typical rust on classic parts like doglegs..

Actually waiting about green panels
