Probably because I didn't notice it was a split era convertible. A quick squint and you're right.

These are great reference photos, but what I'm trying to do is save these old photos for posterity, so that VW enthusiasts years from now can look at and enjoy them. Hopefully The Samba servers will preserve them for a long time.

To reference these photos in the gallery, look under vintage pictures and postcards, and search for "oval window photos."
