In the process of stripping down the bus for an original color respray and some body massaging.

Some rust fixing along the way - if you're ever in the market for a bus, this would be a good example of why to buy them from arid regions. #Fist

Solid bus. You are going all out with the new motor build and bodywork at same time.

If you squint you can just see 2 small rust holes. And this bus lives in Seattle!
Thank you original paint, you served valiantly for 40 years.

I'm hoping you tore out your rear cabinets and are fixing the rust issues you have back there. Best to do it now.

It wasn't as bad as it looked with paint on it.
LR fender blowout will be the trickiest metalwork. someone pulled and filled it before.

No, it's at a shop, I've done it before and would rather pay for it. Cool
Plus my sheetmetal welding skills aren't good enough for that.

M5.

Yes they were, screws are less of a bitch to remove. Like for repainting.
Plus they're backed up with bigger fender washers for spreading the load.

Tie down loops can be bought on Go Westy website. I was lucky and found them at True Value Hardware Store. Good Luck.
