so i lowered my front beam adjuster's and i plan on lowering the rear of my bug but i want to know if its safe to drive with the adjusters hanging down so low before i lower the rear,so i would like to know if i need bigger tires, or a skid plate? are there other options?, also would i be able to take my front shocks out and raise the front beam will i still get the slammed look without the beam being so close to the ground?

I wonder if the trick the corvette guys use would work. We mount two small wheels to the front undercarriage of the car to carry the load when the undercarriage gets too close to the ground. So maybe you could buy two of these wheels and mount them on either side of the front beam. If the wheels hung down as little at 1/4" lower than the adjuster bolt, it would protect it. If you look on some of the vette sights. I think they are called front valance protectors _________________ 79 super Vert

Just re-index your bottom adjuster 90 degrees,
it works the same but it is 100% out of the way of the ground |

Slimmer nuts, trim the bolt down a tad and raise it up just a smidge.
Compromise.
