Guys (and gals...sorry) I have an extra light switch on my dash located to the left of the blower switch. See the picture. Anyone else have such a thing? I can find nothing that it operates. (Haven't looked at the wiring yet either) The switch is not the "two position" type like the headllight switch, it is a single on or off pull switch.

I would say that would be a rear defroster switch

I believe the 72 super is the same as the 71 super, if so:
That's where your windshield wiper switch should be. it should be a knob that has to twists settings and a press-able middle button for windshield wiper fluid. Perhaps someone modded yours to have the windshield wiper control on the steering column and is just filling the hole in the dash.

Edit: Nope, Just looked it up, the 72 should have no knob there, maybe it was added for an aftermarket thing while trying to keep a clean stock look, or they put in an earlier dash pad for some reason.

Any aftermarket fog lights or interior lights? Follow the wires. What color wires are connected to it?

I agree. Most likely aftermarket fog lamps.
