How I spent over half my weekend, engineered wood floor installation. Mrs. Cusser removed the popcorn ceiling, and painted the ceiling. She'll also paint the baseboards before I install.

Anyway, here's a photo of my new Arizona apple tree. Yes, those are apples.

My old apple tree died last fall.

Don't worry - I did remember to add my weekly pint of oil to my B2200....

Nice job. I did wood floors for years. Sanding and installing. I got out of it a couple of years ago but still have the tools and equipment. Here is a cherry floor with a maple boarder,

When we built our house, we had tile floor thru-out the house except the bed rooms. 15 years later my wife and I decided to go with a wood floor. So far ( me personally ) I am 50/50 about the change. Yes it it is a beautiful dark/red Brazilian wood floor but to me it takes more up keep and guess who gets to do it........me Laughing The original installation of the tile when our home was built as it turned out was shitty and I was really sick of it, and both my wife and I wanted a new look, and when it is clean (meaning no dog hair, we have two little doggies ) it looks great, it just needs more maintenance.

Dog hair doesn't fall on tile floors? The only extra maintenance I would recomend with a hardwood floor over a tile floor is to make sure you have a matt at any outside enterance. Or remove your shoes by the door. Sand and dirt is killer on wood floor finishes. Second make sure pet finger nails are kept short. pets that run throught the house with long nails can do damage to hardwood floor finishes. This includes boarder collies.

You see it more on dark red hardwood floor than a the tile floor floor we had Rolling Eyes Think about it.
