Anker horn button clock

I was given this a few years ago by a relative, it was the only thing recovered from a wreck, and Iwas wondering if anyone had much info about them, I've done a few different searches and found pics of them in peoples collections but not much detail on them

There are two versions of that clock. The Blue one which was intended for use on 1956-59 Beetle, and a Black one for the Type 2 range. i have a copy of the original ad, I'll try to post a scan of it later today
