i have a 68 and im installing my brake warning light on the dash the wiring schematic show 2 switches on the brake master cylinder then the warning switch for the brake system, my question is does anyone know what that looks like(warning switch) and where it goes because i cant find it any where? any info or pics is greatly appreciated thanks deric

I believe VW authorized the replacement of the '68 MC with the later two-switch MCs. So if over the decades someone replaced the MC in your Beetle, you probably have the later style that uses two 3-prong switches.

Look at any of the later years, '70 should work fine, for the proper wiring of your warning light.
