Should the rear brake backing plate for the swing axle on my 64 Ghia have a drain hole in it? I've got 2 sets of backing plates...one with a drain hole and one without and I'm not sure which ones to install.

Well, it seems my bearing cover does not have a hole so that answers that question but raises another. If I do not have a drain hole then I apparently need to have an oil slinger that fits into the drum to keep any stray oil off the brakes. What does this "oil slinger" look like? Or I guess I could get new bearing covers with a hole and use the oil slinger/washer setup instead.
