Hello Guys

Here I want to present my new Creation of a narrowed Beam.

At the Beginning, when I fit the first narrowed Beam in my Car I bought a 2" .
Also I let narrow my original Steel Front Wheels on the Outside, that Iīve 3,5x15 Wheels.
At that moment it looked good for me.
But after month I want more and made a 4" narrowed Beam by myself.

And not a Year later I had the Idea to change the Wheels, because the 4,5 and Deep Six Fuchs was my Favourites.
But for this I had to put Wheel-Adapter on the Breaks, so the 4" wasnīīt 4" anymore Wink
So, i made a new narrowed Beam by myself.
Because of the Wheel-Adapters i made 7"
But after fitting the Beam in the Car it looks "to narrowed" for me.

But what could I do?

I had an Idea to made a Narrowed Beam that losen my Problems.

So, look at this:

What kind of stance I have to choose?

4", 3", or 2".....?

It doesnīt matter anymore Wink
With this Beam I can do what I want Wink

But, how it goes?

Here a first Pic about it.

More about my DogBack-Beam at theese Days!

Sorry bout my bad English Wink

With your design it looks like you loose a few inches of torsion bar. How does it ride? I thought the main downside to narrowed beams was the bad ride due to shortened leaf length. Could it be done with the standard single adjuster per tube and just have extra torsion leaf sticking out past the trailing arms or is there a space issue with the tire? I like your tube end spacing system, it looks solid.

Hello

When you are going to narrow a Beam, most of the People think its bad to drive with narrowed Torsion.
But, when you are narrowed the Torsion the Driving-Comfort gets stronger.
But not as Strong that you canīt drive it.
The bad driving you are written is because when the Wheel-Wide is to small and the Tires to small.

But, for real. Most of the Cars that didnīt have narrowed Beams driving more Bad.
Because, most of the Guys didnīt use Dropped Spindles and the Shocks are working at the Limit all the Time!
Before I fitted this Beam into my Car I drive a 6" narrowed Beam without Shocktowers and Shocks.
It works good.
But the new Beam drives better Wink

My Beam is perfect to Fit every Brake and every Wheel-Combination you are want.
It is not only made as a narrowed Beam.
I think itīs more to see like a Beam to egalize your Ideas.
You can adjust/deicide between 0 to 4 Inch Narrowed.
When you are only want to egalize a Big Wheel, a big Brake-System, or Dropped Spendles and so on, you can do it.
So, when you want to install a biogger Engine into your Bug, you have to install a bigger Brake.
And, with my Bweam, you can narrowed him a little bit, to have your Wheel-Wide like it was before and so on.
And, that all works in the Car.
You didnīt have to take the Beam out of the Car!!
So, you didnīt have to change the Beam anymore!

Iīm personally drive it with 4,5 Fuchs and narrowed to the max, off cause my personal Taste Wink
Because my Car is Resto Cal.

To your Questions:
It works not with Bug-Adjusters.
But with 2 Adjusters per Pipe.
Look at the Pic

And the Torsion didnīt gets Outside the Trailing Arms.
Everything plays in the Inside of the Beam-Pipes.

I have a Special, very easy System where the Screws of the Adjusters work together.
But the last Secrets about that I want to take by myself Wink

Hope I have answered your Question.
When you are have more Questions, tell me.
