I’m in the process of trying to replace any gasket possible while the engine is out to prevent future leaks. Today I broke the fuel pump pedestal off down inside the case. Has anyone ever done this and if so how did you get the remaining plastic out? Thanks

Started with a tap, but the ones I had were either too small or a little too big. The large one put just a few small shavings inside and I was able to vaccum them out. I feel very lucky.
