This may be a bit off topic, but I'm a children's book illustrator by trade and much like the rest of you, a lover of Type 4s. So I've decided to work my 411 into one of the books I'm currently illustrating. The main character's name is Eddy Broth, thus the "Fort Broth" scrawled alongside the submerged 411. Click the picture if you want to see it larger. Enjoy!

Thanks guys for the kind words about my work! Originally, the character lived in an old Beetle, but after I got a Type 4, I obviously had to switch it to a 411. I'll try working some Type 3s into his world too!
Here are some older images when he lived in a Beetle. Click the images if you want to see them larger:

Thanks so much, Lars! I appreciate the compliment. Maybe when I have some free time, I'll make some Type 4 t-shirts (if anyone would be interested). _________________ current owner of:

Yes, T-shirts would be fine!
How do you make your art, I mean which technique do you use?

To answer your question Lars, everything is hand drawn and hand painted (using watercolors, acrylics, tempera, inks, etc.) and then scanned into Photoshop, where I make slight alterations if need be.
