Nice job in correcting the rust. Good job on your discipline to keep at it. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

That's not true. Everyone on this forum enjoys seeing good pictures of work being performed on a VW, especially good work like you're doing. You'll find as you update your thread that sometimes folks comment on an update and other times they don't. Use your thread as a log or journal of your progress.
Keep up the good work. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

i can still pull it away from the inner rocker to get to the pillars on the inside with the spotwelder
trial fit of the dogleg, seems to be manageable. but i will first weld the side and front wheelwell completely to have good access and keep structural integrity of the b-pillar
stay tuned _________________ 61 panel: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=465022

Those spot welders are real time savers. I wish I had one of the new body shop spot welding machines!
These machines also allow you to spot weld panels w/out double tongs. You push the panel into the support and it spot welds it.
The are pretty cool. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]
