Wow! You have done some really nice work, especially doing it in that tiny garage!! I am in the middle of restoring a 68 and I had to replace a lot of the same panels you did. Getting mine back from paint maybe next week. Excited to start the final assembly, isn't this stuff great!?! |

This thread has inspired me to try my hand at painting. I'll probably go with some of the stuff you're using. I have a question about the Hammerite: did you spray that on with a primer gun, or use a different method? I just ordered some and noticed it requires a gun with a larger tip (1.8mm-ish?) Along with everyone else, I salute your great work man! _________________ ...moth and rust... |

after taking the box out I put the ab 1300 in only to find out the box a took out was a 1600 poop. so out with the the new one and back in with the old one. so when out I took the time to put better boots on. also got the rear brake pipes and brakes done. also got the hubs on
you can just see pipe work

Looks awesome just wondering if you had to run spacers and how much you narrowed the beam |

hi the front is on a 4" narrowed beam with adjusters and 2.5" drop spindles. rear is just on a long axle box so no need for spacers. |

I'm no expert by any means but you can recondition it by sanding the face down on a piece of glass/marble/etc. I started with 180 and worked my way to 400. You'll still need to make sure the gap is fine between the plate and the gears. You may need to sand the pump assembly as well. Most guys might just say to buy a new pump.
