I got my super beetle the other day. I am so excited to fix her up. The lady I bought it from said it was a 72 but the title says a 73. Its been sitting in her yard forever. Her son was suppose to restore it but never did. He did not touch it in 6 years. There is no engine and no seats. I need to get some seats from somewhere. I got it for really cheap. the body still looks great and it being an AZ car its whole life there is no rust that I have seen.

The year would be on the drivers side of the dash as part of the VIN.

What part of AZ are you? Look at the drivers door post of mont and year on the sticker. Seats, talk to Blair and Sons 35 av and baseline.

Another way to tell for sure it is or isn't a '73 would be if it was a curved or flat windshield. Curved =' 73+
