That's the plan! Evidence of life will be enough to move forward during spring break. |
Don't forget: Your power entryway is the small red cable that comes off the + on the battery, goes to B+ on the regulator, then the second red wire at B+ goes to Terminal on of the headlight switch, then out the other two Term. 30s to the fusebox, ign. switch, etc. An interruption here or a corroded/ bad headlight switch shuts down the works. _________________ Give A Pal a Hand!

i also have to get Tram's maroon paint 'test spray' off the car! I'm hoping that oven cleaner will do that.

I vote shiney too. It's easier to clean.
Do you know what "Tram's maroon test spray" paint is? If it's just laquer, or enamel spray paint, either laquer thinner or MEK will take it off, without hurting the under finish. Easy off oven cleaner, might eat the paint under it. Plus that stuff is hard on the skin.
Since you're canibalizing the "blue Bomb" anyway, why not steal the wiring out of it, since you know it all works? Remember, you only have about 2 1/2 months to get it ready for a road trip. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

It's just a test spray over dirt. A power washer will probably remove it. _________________ Give A Pal a Hand!

Should have a new battery for it tomorrow and I'll start going through and cleaning up the ground strap contacts to see if I can get stuff to work.
Then I will have to find out how screwed up the front beam is. I'm hoping that it was just slammed with tires that are too tall. |
I don't think so. With the front of the car hacked up, you can bounce the front tires like a basketball. _________________ Give A Pal a Hand!

I meant "jacked up", as in on a floor jack, front wheels hanging. Sorry. _________________ Give A Pal a Hand!
