That is a beautiful machine. It's sad you plan such significant alterations. I guess it's the personal opinion thing but that car is stunning as is.

believe me fellas the pix make it look way better than it is. paint is unoriginal and kinda rough. it was marina blue but someone had the brilliant idea to paint it metallic green enamel. im a painter by trade so im gonna clean it up with some new paint and some sprucing and just drive it and enjoy it. its really a blast to drive too!!

Opps I misread your first post and thought you were 17 and a painter by trade LOL.
Nice trade. Cool It's funny how photos make a car look perfect.
One day i'd like to trade my '69 Beetle for a baja, I'd never cut up a perfectly good beetle, but I like the baja's too

Yep, none of that is a big deal if the paint isn't original. I like what you did with the Ranger, so I'm curious to see what you'll come up with for the Super.

thanks man. the ranger was an exercise in the realm of "faux-tina" i think it came out rad. but it had 197k miles and it was a ford and i've never been a huge ford fan..

heres a close-up of the deatail. it was a fun paint job for sure
